Sponsor Births

Being in the neighbourhood, very poor pregnant women in labour end up at the door steps of LifeSpring Hospitals (as public maternity hospital could be at a distance of over 15 km). LifeSpring Hospitals strives to provide them the required service at a subsidy (over its already lower price). Even the Obstetricians of LifeSpring Hospitals charge only a nominal fee for such deliveries. Given the business model designed for very low margins, LifeSpring Hospitals would need support to sustain these subsidies.

A separate entity, LifeSpring Foundation was launched to provide subsidised delivery care for such very poor pregnant women. This subsidy helps the less fortunate women to experience a safe child birth in a dignified setting.

You can contribute to LifeSpring Foundation and sponsor the subsidy of the delivery of such pregnant women in distress. A small support of Rs.18,000 (US $225) from you can sponsor the delivery package – including the preadmission diagnostics, and postnatal visit for the mother with the obstetrician and the baby with the paediatrician. Your sponsorship would also include a contribution for an emergency caesarean section insurance fund – which is used to fund the caesarean section delivery if such very poor pregnant women require it as an emergency. All donations to LifeSpring Foundation are eligible for tax benefit under Sec.80(G) of Income Tax Act.
